Student Leadership and Engagement
Introduction and Scope
The FJWU students’ societies and clubs are formulated to provide students with a platform whereby they can organize and participate in co-curricular activities thus competing with their peers to become well-rounded and disciplined individuals. The scope of these societies and clubs is to provide opportunities and platforms for developing soft skills (Team Work, Communication and Adaptability), integrity and diversity and leadership skills. These skills will lead to produce more employable graduates.
All co-curricular activities at FJWU are conducted under the auspices of the various student’s societies & clubs. Following are the objectives and core values of these societies and clubs:

- To provide an umbrella for co-curricular activities within the university
- To help students polish their existing skills and talent
- To enhance leadership skills through relevant activities
