Microenterprise Development

FJWU provide support to Microenterprise development activities through Women Business Incubation Center. BIC aims to act as a catalyst for economic development, employment generation, and technology commercialization.
The FJWU-BIC offer resources and services to support startup companies during their initial stage of development where they are introduced to successful global models and work to adapt those models to meet their needs. Graduates of the FJWU-BIC program have the potential to create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, commercialize new technologies, and contribute to the growth of local and national economies. By shifting the focus from creating job seekers to job providers, BIC aim’s to empower girls to become drivers of economic development.

Scope of Service

6 months Incubation Cycle

The 6-month intensive programme at BIC was created with consideration towards the needs of nearby entrepreneurs.

Workshops and Bootcamp
National and International Exposures

Get national and international exposure by attending events / conferences fully sponsored by BIC.

Office Workspace

The co-working facility provides high-speed Wi-Fi and LAN connections, printing and scanning capabilities, access to meeting spaces and breakout areas, and other amenities that make it simple for them to operate effectively and efficiently.

Mentorship & Coaching

Every startup will have a dedicated coach and will have access to carefully selected mentors who would help resident startups build a business around their tech ideas.
