Co-Curricular Activities are as important as academic activities for the all around development of individuals. These activities help students to develop fully by inculcating a sense of confidence, fulfillment and achievement in them.
Intra-University and Inter-University Competitions
Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) accords due importance to providing opportunities for participation in all aspects of university life by regularly holding various kinds of competition and sports events every year. The intra-university competitions are held during the Fall Semester, while the Winter/Spring Semester includes an inter-university festivity during the Women’s week.

These competitions provide students with an opportunity to display their talents. Prizes are given in recognition of their talents.Talented FJWU students are also encouraged to represent their university in different universities all over Pakistan. In year 2009, the university responded to invitations from different universities all over Pakistan and won many prizes, as well.

Introduction and Scope
The FJWU students’ societies and clubs are formulated to provide students with a platform whereby they can organize and participate in co-curricular activities thus competing with their peers to become well-rounded and disciplined individuals. The scope of these societies and clubs is to provide opportunities and platforms for developing soft skills (Team Work, Communication and Adaptability), integrity and diversity and leadership skills. These skills will lead to produce more employable graduates.
